About the Role: Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC Preferred)

Nao Medical is looking for a responsible, highly qualified and professional licensed psychotherapist to join our team and help us expand our Mental Health in New York. We are currently practicing remotely for our Mental Health program.

You will provide psychotherapeutic services to a diverse caseload of clients. Patients who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, or OCD. Particular consideration will be given to candidates with prior psychotherapy experience and/or post graduate training in long-term and behavioral disciplines, and candidates with an existing roster of clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of methods to evaluate a patient, such as interviewing the patient, their family or other persons.
• Develop a treatment plan according to the needs of the patient’s needs and extent of emotional, social, cognitive, developmental or behavioral disorder.
• For consultations, we have our own in-house Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner available to you to help better serve your patients if they need medication management.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Write and maintain patient and clinical records, including the type of treatment and medication administered.
• Keep up-to-date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences or maintaining professional networks.
• Follow ethical and legal policies, procedures and standards.
• This is a hybrid position (virtual and office visits).

Qualifications:

• Fully licensed by New York State to provide counseling (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC Preferred)
• Additional certifications preferred but not required (ABA, DBT, CBT, EMDR)
• Bilingual skills (Spanish and English) are preferred but not required
• Previous experience providing treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and or families
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent engagement and communication skills
