Machine Cell Operator - Plating Line, Entry-level

We are looking to hire a Machine Operator to run our Plating work cell.

Duties:

• Operate plating line including product checks, startup & shut down of equipment, & perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Load & process product through bead blast machine & plating dip line
• Accurate record keeping including defective product reporting, ordering materials, & finished goods inventory
• Maintain thorough safety & housekeeping standards
• Follow all safety procedures per OSHA & company standards
• Maintain positive, professional relationships & communications with coworkers

Requirements:

• Safety focused
• Problem solving, numerical aptitude
• Blueprint reading, measuring instruments
• Bending, standing, lifting 60 lbs.
• Machine operation, manufacturing experience & Metallurgy and/or plating processes experience desired but will train the right candidate

Desired skills, experience, attributes:

• Self-starter
• Ability to work unsupervised & independently
• Boiler or similar experience may be applicable
• Complex thermal process systems experience including monitoring, running, or adjusting

Shifts available:

• 1st: Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm
• 2nd: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm
• 3rd: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am

***Minimum starting pay $18.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift premium ($20.00 minimum)***
