- develop, deploy, and maintain practical solutions for commercial client products
- productionize machine learning solutions in combination with knowledge of UBS products, processes, systems, people and corresponding data flows
- Interact with clients and technology stakeholders to prioritize opportunities with operational headwinds
- support execution together with business
Your team
Machine Learning and Quantitative Techniques (MLQT) works as part of the Finance ADA & AI product crew. Our aim is to be a leading provider of machine learning and quantitative modelling solutions, delivering value and practical solutions to our clients.
Your expertise
- Master’s degree in finance, operational research or engineering preferred
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
- Knowhow of financial markets and banking products
- Advanced model development and machine learning skills with practical applications
- Extensive programming experience in production environments, including CI/CD pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
- Experience with design of web applications (Django) and configuration of UNIX servers (RHEL7)
- Project Management experience
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal); German or French is a plus

Salary information
CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $112,000 to $137,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
