Engineer Trainee Local 399
Do you have a passion for fixing things? If so, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for a reliable trainee who can keep our facilities operating efficiently. You must be an active Local 399 member. You must actively be taking classes with the union hall and have some experience in the trades.
Responsibilities:- Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
- Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed
- Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
- Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
- Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
