Responsibilities:

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage a team of Operations Engineers who are supporting both segment and company applications / processes
• Develop and lead the management of segment-level processes for change and release management, monitoring and alerting, and incident management ensuring alignment to corporate standards
• Lead high priority incident calls, ensuring teams are engaged and stakeholders are notified of progress
• Develop, compile and report metrics across all processes for operational and managerial use
• Lead the problem management process to drive the reduction of repeat or otherwise preventable incidents within the segment
• Develop and maintain good working relationship with our partners in the segment as well as corporate IT
• Manage the operations project portfolio

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working within Operations, Engineering or Development
• Demonstrated experience managing remote teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the E&S insurance industry
• College degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or the equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of core ITIL processes, ITIL Foundations certification preferred
