What You’ll Be Doing:
Role
The Managing Director, Clinical Transformation and Value-Based Care oversees clinical operations, implementation of value-based initiatives and utilization management transformation. They will facilitate data driven decision-making and position the company competitively relative to quality outcomes, operations, efficiency, and financial stewardship. Identify opportunities to drive innovation and improvements that have not been realized.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Manager for clinical process improvement team
Project Management of Lean Six Sigma projects within UM team
Support clinical operations for all three specialties (Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Cardiology)
Implementation of new clinical offerings for risk business
Develop strategies and innovations to reduce total cost of care
Improve UM-based internal efficiencies: Conduct data analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and propose solutions
Clinical liaison for Partner Ops, Provider Solutions, Product and Strategy teams
Works cross functionally in provider engagement, value-based strategies, and innovation team, providing clinical prescriptive
Proactive improvement of metrics on partner health dashboard
Authorization review as needed
The Experience You’ll Need
  • Experience as a practicing clinician with current certification/license in good standing
  • Minimum of seven years of experience leading teams with demonstrated progressive scope and responsibilities
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, High Reliability, and/or other process improvement methodologies is preferred
  • Experience with regulatory requirements (CMS, NCQA, HEDIS etc.) and standards
  • Experience in managing cost in capitated arrangements, ACOs, other value-based payment structures
  • Experience in program development with measurable results
Technical Requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $150,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
