Manufacturing Blending Operator - 2nd Shift
Come join our Batching and Compounding Team! We are looking for a Lead Blender/Mixer to oversee our 2nd shift team. This person would train on 1st shift for the first 6 - 8 months, and then transfer to 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity to join PhytogenX as we continue to grow!

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Follows batching instructions provided in order to manufacture desired product.
• Works with lab with any issues during batching.
• Cleans kettle and necessary equipment used in the batching process.
• Weighs finished product and raw materials.
• Sanitizes/maintains water system.
• Knowledge of kettles and procedure for heating and cooling of kettles.
• Knowledge of Pumps and Homogenizers.
• Retrieves materials from warehouse
• Performs finished bulk inventory.
• Completes additional tasks as assigned.
• Completes training on all SOP’s pertaining to batching area and adheres to company SOPs.
• Weighs drums, labels drums after batch is complete
• Completes daily paperwork

Requirements to Perform Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Firm grasp of the English language.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication division, percentages and conversions.
• Knowledge and use of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food or pharmaceutical production of batcher/mixer or quality control, preferred, but not necessary.

Physical Demands:

• Medium to heavy physical demands, climate controlled environment.
• Frequent need to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for the whole shift
• Frequently climb up and down steps
• Wet and slippery conditions
• Ability to work and understand computers or work w/Tablet.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
