DOVERPHILA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is a financial services leader in Tuscarawas county and has been serving members since 1953. We have locations in Dover, New Philadelphia, Uhrichsville and Newcomerstown. The Marketing Specialist position supports the planning, executing and tracking of marketing campaigns and helps with the development of new marketing strategies. Position helps identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creates and manages marketing collateral. Other responsibilities include helping to analyze data to monitor campaigns and evaluate results, perform public speaking, manage community events and financial programming and provide administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the Credit Union mission, products and services
• Provide administrative and project support for the Marketing department
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and to better understand marketing needs of the Credit Union and its targeted audiences
• Collaborate with other departments to manage, maintain and execute marketing initiatives
• Help create reports on marketing campaigns, marketing proposals and financial presentations
• Communicate and maintain good relations with the community, members and vendors
• Assist with the setup, facilitation and completion of events and financial programming
• Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing
• Assist with producing, maintaining and organizing of marketing collateral
• Design, write and edit content for various platforms such as social media, website and email
• Maintain social media accounts, website and marketing database(s)
• Understand and comply with regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures
• Uphold Credit Union standards for professionalism and confidentiality
• Perform various other duties as requested or assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or relevant field preferred
• Related job or internship experience
• Understanding of business and marketing concepts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) preferred
• Knowledge of relevant marketing tools, applications and techniques
• Familiarity with email marketing and search engines
• Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented focus
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Ability to work full-time, in-office, during regular business hours along with occasional hours outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends, and occasional alternate locations within Tuscarawas county to fulfill position responsibilities
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
