Hydrasearch is a growing ISO9001:2015 certified Defense Contractor/Manufacturer on Maryland's Eastern Shore who is currently seeking a Material Planner in Stevensville, MD! We are looking for a motivated individual to oversee contracts, estimating and planning for our US Military and Federal Government Customers. The Material Planner will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing to ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deciphering technical documents
• Submitting requests for vendor pricing
• Use Bills of Materials and Routers to generate accurate quotations in the pre-contract review process
• Providing technical support to both our internal and external customers
• Familiarity with NSNs, Military Standards, labeling and packaging is preferred
• Bridging the gap between the quoting process and manufacturing process

Experience

• 3 - 5 years: Relevant Engineering or Sales work; preferably in the metal manufacturing markets

Education

• Bachelors or better in Business Admin or related field
• Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
