Job description
JOB SUMMARY
Delivers daily meals and provides wellness check to Meals on Wheels recipients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DIRECT SERVICES
1. Assists in morning packing of meals for all daily routes.
2. Delivers meals to and provides daily wellness check of Meals on Wheels clients.
3. Follows instruction for proper food safety and handling.
4. Other duties as assigned.
ADMINISTRATIVE
1. Completes route sheets as instructed by staff to submit at end of each day.
2. Delivers all menus, notes, or contribution envelopes from staff to clients.
3. Assists in client eligibility reassessments as needed, with a minimum of 15 reassessments per month.
COMMUNICATION
1. Meets with staff daily to communicate needs and concerns about clients and routes
2. Maintains confidentiality of clients at all times.
- A CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and have a safe driving record.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team oriented.
