This position involves Product development of consumable passenger vehicle parts for original equipment (OEM) applications. We are looking for a candidate with over 5+ years of recent Automotive industry experience (within last 2-8 years) preferably with vehicle OE customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position will have extensive project management and engineering responsibilities for the development for vehicle OE applications.

Will work with management, customers, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and other departments to achieve targeted performance requirements and needed resources.

Ensure all relevant OEM requirements are met and completed in coordination with the responsible Automotive Engineer(s).

Perform design using company design guidelines and simulation tools

Design & compliance according to company & customer specifications.

Will engineer and conduct analytical analysis on design features, manufacturing, and performance characteristics.

Oversee required testing and data analysis.

Conduct design reviews and reports.

Oversee budget management of projects.

Analysis and support for technical issues.

Regularly document and communicate deliverables in written form.

Education & experience requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or related engineering field.
Relevant full-time experience in the automotive industry applying and developing products.
Preferred: greater than 3 years' experience in automotive OEM development
