Preamble:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced medical assistant to join our team. We are a growing physician-owned primary and urgent care medical office in the Charlotte. Our ideal candidate is experienced, self-driven, ambitious, hard-working, passionate about helping others, and interested in professional growth and development.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To work within the credentialed scope of practice.

Collects and prepares lab specimens/lab requisitions accurately.

Prepares patient and equipment for exams/procedures.

Maintains exam rooms and clinical area.

Returns phone messages to patients, pharmacies, etc.

Schedules and obtains authorizations for referrals and/or procedures.

Prepares and performs radiology diagnostics (x-rays) based upon training and experience.

Adhere to all operational guidelines including but not limited to HIPPA, OSHA, and clinic specific requirements.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completed training as Medical Assistant, preferably certified/registered and with at least 1-2 years experience as a medical assistant. Able to work independently and in a group. Experienced in charting using EMR system.

Job Type: Full-time: Pay: $15.00 - $18:30 per hour
