Job description

A coding and billing specialist helps the healthcare facility manage insurance claims, invoices, and payments. The day-to-day work of a medical coding and billing specialist includes: properly coding services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments. Preparing and sending invoices or claims for payment. Verifying coverage and eligibility for medical services, and communication with insurance providers and patients. Review patient bills and correct any missing or inaccurate information.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
