JOB SUMMARY

The Physician Liaison is responsible for the discovery, development, and management of physician relationships in the greater Houston area. The physician liaison serves as an integral link between our doctors and the referring providers in our community. The physician liaison is responsible for servicing and expanding referral sources and discovering new avenues of growth within the market.

DUTIES

• Develops, expands, and maintains excellent relationships with medical providers and staff.
• Maintain daily interaction with existing and new referral sources.
• Analyze market trends to develop marketing strategies and recommendations.
• Provide frequent patient updates and serve as a patient advocate to the community.
• Report weekly to the partners and marketing director.
• Performs other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, healthcare management, nursing or related fields or equivalent education/experience.

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:

• Three or more years in healthcare marketing involving physician relationships or other related tasks required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong independent drive and unwavering desire to succeed.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience. In addition, this position is eligible for full benefits and bonuses. Total compensation could exceed $150,000 for a highly productive liaison.
