SUMMARY

The primary purpose of the Non-Alcoholic Specialist is to assist our sales team in developing and growing our non-alcoholic portfolio. Their job duties will include selling, merchandising, and servicing accounts throughout our market, while maintaining the quality of our NA products.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and review proposed Non-Alcoholic resets with the Sales Consultants and ASM’s/TM’s to ensure set accuracy and that the customer’s needs are met.

  • Work independently or with Sales Consultants to sell in space gains for new distribution as well as existing items.

  • Execute non-alcoholic resets within Caffey/CPBev accounts.

  • Track and report the monthly Non-Alcoholic space and distribution gains.

  • Work with management to develop a plan to achieve targeted distribution levels on select NA brands.

  • Keep accurate records of Caffey owned stand-alone coolers, capturing location, space and distribution.

  • Responsible for maintaining current inventory of all NA point-of-sale.


Availability:

  • Organize and set accounts with proper non-alcoholic SKU’s as close as possible to the category leader in each segment.

  • Effectively communicate with the Sales Consultant to complete details of the NA sales order.

  • Ability to deliver and check-in products with managers or other personnel, following store policy.


Visibility:

  • Work to achieve competitive cooler space, equal to or above your share of the market. Strive to have 1st position in the cooler door.

  • Work with Sales Consultant to request and obtain excellent display space locations.

  • Ensure accurate pricing is being reflected and all items have shelf price tags present.

  • Ensure effective placement of Non-Alcoholic POS representing the brands we sell in each account.


Affordability:

  • Ensure promotional pricing is properly reflected at retail. In accounts you service, ensure NA shelf tags and price stickers are present and correct for each NA product on the shelf.

  • Help implement Strategic buy-ins and promotions on NA products.


Acceptability:

  • Represent Caffey Distributing/Carolina Premium Beverage in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service

  • Maintain a friendly, working relationship with the Manager of each account. Effectively communicate to the Store Management about new products, price promotions and opportunities.

  • Maintain a safe driving record and comply with company driving points policy.

  • Always adhere to safety standards and policies.

  • Submit daily and weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for orders, requests, displays, and other business transactions.

  • Submit display execution through an appropriate tracking system.

  • Maintain proper SKUs in assigned accounts balancing customer needs and company objectives.

  • Ensure POS is current and in good working order.

  • Communicates with Area Sales Manager/Territory Manager and/or Area Delivery Manager/ Delivery Driver to resolve customer problems, opportunities, competitive activity in your market, and potential overage situations.

  • Attend all scheduled meetings and company functions as required.

  • Always adhere to the dress code.

  • Obey all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
