We have an exciting new opportunity in the Reno area, and we are calling all the ambitious and experienced Delivery Drivers to join TEMCO LOGISTICS, together we will service our Business Partners providing the exceptional customer service we are known for!

Your Responsibilities include:

• Driver will operate a 26 Ft. company vehicle to transport Big and bulky items to and from customer locations.
• Load and unload equipment safely and in accordance with Temco's guidelines
• Utilize job related equipment but not limited to dollies, forklift, electric pallet jack, lifting straps and handheld tools.
• Accurately complete records of deliveries/pick-ups on paperwork and handheld device
• Delivers high-quality products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Review and verify purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
• You are responsible for inspecting delivery vehicle and ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading of merchandise.
• Contact customers to confirm delivery details/ route.

Delivery Driver Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision following all Temco's established procedures, in a fast-paced and timely manner environment.
• Must have the ability to provide great customer service and quality in delivery.
• Ability to Lift/pull/push/Load/Unload equipment up to 100+LBS from warehouse/truck using proper equipment.
• Ability to problem solve quickly and logically when needed.
• Work in a safely manner maintaining an accident-free environment.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class-C License at time of hire.
• Must have a clean MVR record.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to effectively operate a GPS.
• Must be able to use / learn handheld device and smart phone applications.
• Driving experience preferred
