The Front Office Supervisor performs delegated administrative functions under the direction of the Office Manager in the delivery of care for all assigned patient populations, in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines. The Front Office Supervisor shall work efficiently to process and complete all Referral/Prior Authorizations in a timely manner, communicate effectively with patients and providers, assist will all front desk functions pertaining to the Medical Receptionist positions, and will assist the clinic manager with training an educating front office staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least18 years of age.
- Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability in keyboard proficiency, use of Microsoft Office applications and office equipment with acceptable speed and accuracy
- Able to coordinate and schedule appropriately the provider's schedules
- Able to deal with the public in a compassionate, high paced environment
- Must be a self-starter, not requiring direction or micro-management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff and support
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
- An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
- Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
- Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in a healthcare related field
- Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
- CPR Certification for the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs
Position Classification: Non-exempt
Compensation Range: $17.00 to $22.88
