AJAC is looking for a talented and resourceful Office and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience working in an office environment, excellent communication skills, and is able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Our mission is to create industry-driven apprenticeship programs that serve the lifelong learning requirements of a 21st Century workforce. This position contributes to our mission by overseeing logistics of our office and classroom supplies for our programs. This requires you to work in our Corporate Office in Kent, as well as be able to drive to our different training locations in order to deliver supplies and equipment.


A typical day as an Office & Logistics Coordinator might look like this:
  • Check our incoming mail and packages, making sure that what was delivered matches purchasing transactions.
  • Look at the current supplies for AJAC's various programs and office, and order supplies as necessary to maintain inventory.
  • Work with our Technical Specialist to make sure that spending is within budget limitation, and be able to source and negotiate for the best products in terms of quality, price, and service.
  • Set up your schedule to deliver textbooks, classroom supplies, and equipment to AJAC's programs. We have training facilities across the state, so the right candidate will enjoy some windshield time!
  • Take incoming calls and provide excellent customers service to all of our vendors, contractors, customers/clients, and suppliers. Work with our customers to ensure that all items are delivered accurately and on time.
You are a good fit for this role if you:
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative or similar role.
  • Love to organize, prioritize tasks, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with managing budgets and purchasing.
  • Are self-motivated, and a creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Have a Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.

Schedule:
Full time - Salaried Position
Salary range: $60,000-65,000 (depending on experience)
Corporate office location: Kent, WA
