Fraze & Company, CPAs, is a full-service CPA firm providing tax, accounting, audit, and consulting services with locations in Ottawa, IL, Oak Forest, IL, Naperville, IL and St. Louis, MO.

We are looking for a full-time rock star Office Assistant in our Ottawa office. We're looking for someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, high responsibility, problem-solving work environment. You need to know how to use a scanner, how to use Adobe, Word, Excel, and other software.

The hours are Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm plus from January through April the hours include Saturdays from 8am to noon. But full disclosure that is the minimum, we work hard and we work a lot. If that makes you uncomfortable this is not the job for you.

This person will regularly interact with our clients on the phone and in person. It is important that this person has respect for confidentiality, is punctual, and is a team player who is amenable to change and accept additional responsibilities as we grow.

Office Assistant responsibilities include:

• Greet clients upon arrival and on the phone
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and phones
• Scan documents for digital storage retention
• Maintain digital files and paper file cabinets
• Filing, copying, and other administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned

Required background and experience include:

• Be a problem solver
• Computer literate
• Has implemented process improvements
• Strong communication skills
• Recent experience in an office environment
• Highly organized
• Comfortable greeting clients and creating a welcoming office environment

Candidates must be willing to undergo a criminal background check.

We are a non-smoking office.
