Job description

We are seeking a friendly, responsible, reliable and motivated individual to fill the role of our Office Coordinator at our small counseling practice located in downtown Charles Town.

In this position you will serve as front office support for clients and clinicians. If you are detail-oriented and a team player with a strong work ethic and professional etiquette we would like to meet with you. This position is in-person.

General responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients
  • Verifying insurance eligibility
  • Answering the phones
  • Collecting co-pays and other client payments
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Keeping the reception area and office clean and organized
  • Contacting insurance companies regarding issues with claims
  • Sending out client invoices and other client correspondence
  • Ordering office supplies

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to work independently and on a team
  • Must have problem-solving skills
  • EMR experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPPA preferred
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong working knowledge of various computer programs such as Excel, Word, Numbers and Pages preferred

This is a part-time position with pay rate of $16 - $18 per hour based on experience. Position comes with some insurance benefits.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
