Overview:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for cleaning operations in our Banquets area, ensuring the banquet space is supplied with clean dishes and silverware according to business needs. As well as setting up banquet areas for events. Responsibilities:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for cleaning operations in our Banquets area, ensuring the banquet space is supplied with clean dishes and silverware according to business needs. As well as setting up banquet areas for events.
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Follows and maintains department objectives, standards, and guidelines to ensure proper operation of department.
- Assists in ordering and receiving all non-food items within the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring adequate par levels of inventory.
- Inspects equipment and ensures all equipment is in working order and up to Hard Rock safety and cleanliness standards; authorizes replacement parts for equipment in the food departments.
- Maintains open lines of communications with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage.
- Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
- Perform work regularly and predictably.
- Other duties as assigned.
This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of one-year progressive experience within the Banquets Department.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be 21 years of age.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- All operations of the Stewards’/Banquets Department.
ABILITY TO:
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.- Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- Deliver programs which create a service level of excellence for internal and external guests.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
- Inspect and maintain all areas for which responsible.
- Stock and retrieve supplies as needed.
- Ability to move chairs and tables.
