Job Summary:

The Onboarding Development and Delivery Associate is a member of the People Experience Team within Talent Solutions. The People Experience Team supports Crowe’s people strategy in part by delivering an exceptional firmwide orientation to new hires of the Firm. We create this exceptional experience by acclimating new hires to the Firm’s culture, purpose, values, and structure; walking them through firmwide technology; ensuring they have access to firmwide resources; familiarizing them with firm policies and warmly welcoming them into the Crowe family.


The Onboarding Development and Delivery Associate is a dynamic and highly credible individual responsible for assisting the Onboarding Team with the development and delivery of Crowe’s two-day orientation program. This individual must possess a passion for helping others and a recognition of and empathy for the challenges all U.S and global new hires face. With the support of this individual, Crowe’s new hires should feel fully engaged, energized and well-equipped for success from their first day at Crowe.

This role includes primarily the delivery of multiple versions of Crowe’s two-day orientation, each of which uniquely designed to meet the needs of personnel at all levels and time zones (i.e., global personnel) within the firm. The individual in this role will also assist with the ongoing development of Crowe’s overall onboarding program (which includes the two-day orientation).

This individual should possess strong skills in instructional delivery, facilitation and production of orientation webinars utilizing various meeting platforms including, but not limited to, Zoom and Teams.

This role also includes reviewing and updating the internal onboarding site with who-to-contact information, onboarding checklists, orientation agendas, how-to guides and other electronic document libraries and guidance at the request of the Onboarding Team or other leaders.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Partner with and secure resources from internal clients such as:

  • Firm IT: to acquire and maintain functional expertise on the firm’s technology stack to ensure orientation presentations, self-study courses and technical job aids remain evergreen
  • Deployment: to confirm delivery of new hire laptop and equipment and to request the setup of virtual desktops (VDIs) for new hires in unique situations
  • Human Resources: for U.S. and global personnel reports (e.g., start date, start date corrections/rescinded offers)
  • People Operations Leads (POLs): to utilize as liaisons between new hires and business units, to confirm peer liaison and career coach assignments, and to support unique new hire circumstances
  • Talent Acquisition: to obtain current candidate reports for forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (Education, Marketing and/or Communications, Instructional Design, Technology, or related field preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with personnel at all levels
  • Experience in a professional services environment a plus
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of instructional design a plus
  • Experience with delivering technical training for non-technical learners
  • Experience with delivering in all modes of training (e.g. in-person, webinar, asynchronous video, E-learning)
  • Quickly learns and easily adapts to new and emerging technologies
