RESPONSIBILITIES:
We provide intensive training and continued support to ensure the quality and efficient performance of your responsibilities as a teacher. We’re on a mission to build a global community of teachers working remotely from the comfort and safety of your homes.

1. Deliver the lessons in two teaching methods:

• Video Teaching: The online video class is held through a web-based Learning Management System (LMS) in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
• Phone English: You will use an internet phone device which is provided by the company, to call the student over the phone. You may use Skype as a backup.

2. Provide teaching, reporting, and evaluation services for each student.

• The adult students are mostly employees of business corporations and government agencies. You should have the ability to teach various professional topics, especially during free talking.
• Elementary to university students use textbooks provided by the company. You will prepare a daily lesson plan for each student following the lesson schedule.

3. Start the class on time as scheduled.

• Classes are held before and after the office hours in Korea Standard Time (KST) in two sessions:

- Morning session is from 6 to 9 am (KST) / 1 to 4 pm (PST) or 4 to 7 pm (EST)

- Evening session is from 7 pm till midnight (KST) / 2 to 7 am (PST) or 5 to 10 am (EST)

• There are three different class types:

- 15 minutes lesson, five days a week or

- 20 minutes lesson, three days a week (Mon, Wed, and Fri. This is the most preferred schedule.) or

- 30 minutes lesson, twice a week (Tue and Thu)

DUTIES:

• Employ techniques and approaches to develop the student’s English language proficiency.
• Build a caring relationship with the students to inspire them to be successful learners.
• Encourage conversation to build speaking confidence
• Practice proper time management to start and end the class on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Commits to a minimum of 2 hours of teaching per day
• PC or Laptop Windows OS only
• ·Webcam and Headset
• High-speed internet

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A citizen, born or raised in native English-speaking countries such as the USA and Canada
• 4-year degree college diploma
• 1 year online ESL teaching experience

COMPETITIVE PAY:

• US$12-15 per teaching hour based on actual teaching time.
• Monthly payment is every 15th of the following month wired to your bank account.
• Fees are paid by the company.
