Position Summary

As the Operations Coordinator, you will support continuous improvement in the company's operational efficiencies through root cause analysis, field support, and inventory issue resolution. This is a corporate position that monitors inventory related controls to verify inventories are reflected in the systems on a real-time basis. Operations Coordinators oversee and assist 10-15 retail locations. In addition, the position provides training and troubleshooting to the field staff. The goal of this position is to assist the stores in maintaining an accurate inventory and streamline the operational procedures to assist in that goal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and review physical inventories.
• Troubleshoot store operational procedures with the retail field staff.
• Train local staff in person and perform inventory audits.
• Remedies stock and location discrepancies as necessary.
• Assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining operational procedures.
• Provide comprehensive weekly reports of adjustments, category adjustments and damages.
• Researching inventory issues for root cause and preventative measures.
• Manage case queues of inquiries from the brick-and-mortar retail locations.
• Analyze results of the inventory counts to influence any changes needed to improve accuracy and minimize inventory "shrinkages".
• Provide oversight of the product returns process, for both the company's return of goods shipped damaged or incorrectly, and the customer's return of products.
• Manage a dashboard with actionable tasks for a group of retail locations.
• Keeps up with changing technologies such as computer software.
• Travel to local stores as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Inventory control experience – preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
• Intermediate Excel preferred.
• Analytical background with strong critical thinking skills.
• Clear communication style (verbal and written).
• Work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product.
• Team player with experience working closely with all functional leaders of the Company.
• NetSuite ERP experience is a plus.
