Job description

Immediate opening for hands-on, experienced operations supervisors for our landfill and hauling company. Interested applicants must have relevant (waste and/or recycling) experience. Position calls for supervisory work overseeing/leading all aspects of our landfill and hauling operations with limited supervision.

Position requirements:

- Providing the highest level of customer service to our valued customers

- Recruiting, hiring and training new team members

- Leading and supervising team, under your direction, with a direct report to the operations/general manager. This includes operations personnel, drivers, employees, maintenance shop staff, office personnel, etc.

- Conducting and/or participating in company meetings

- Ensuring company and all employees are operating safely, efficiently and productively according to all federal, state, local, company, DOT and OSHA regulations

- Maintaining materials, facility, fleet, containers and assets according to company standards

- Monitoring vehicle condition reports and ensuring any/all issues are handled immediately

- Completing all required paperwork daily (computer skills are a must)

- Working independently, being quick thinking and making sound decisions

- Clean MVR

- CDL Class A/B license and current DOT card preferred

This position is very hands-on and does require some weekend work.

• Live Oak, FL 32060: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• CDL Driving: 3 years (Preferred)
• Supervisory: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL Class A/B License (Preferred)
