Twin Cities Eye Consultants has an opening for a part-time (24 hours per week) Ophthalmic Technician for our Elk River facility!

Our patients and our staff are very important to us and we'd love to have you join our team!

Job duties will vary by position, but include items such as:

• Ensuring exam rooms are clean and ready for patients
• Documenting patient complaint and medical history
• Various types of medical and specialized testing procedures
• Working closely with physicians to ensure they're kept aware of schedule changes, and assist with patient as requested (like administering topical ophthalmic and oral medications)

These roles are a great opportunity to use your customer service and interpersonal skills while also learning more about the technical side of ophthalmology.

Successful candidates will have:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician or equivalent experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for learning and providing excellent patient care!

Salary will vary based on prior experience and level of certification.
