Order Fulfillment Coordinator

Role Purpose:

§ Ensure fulfilment of our promise to customers on time / in full

§ Responsible for end to end execution of all internal and external orders (customer, replenishment, sample, …) (batch allocation, transport planning, monitoring and cost settlement) for a designated product portfolio

§ Acts as the operational point of contact towards the Logistics Service Providers (transport carriers & external warehouses) making all relevant order fulfilment info available to serve our customers

§ Ensures dispatching and customs administration of finished products, raw materials, base resin materials and dangerous goods in compliance with all legal requirements and relevant guidelines

Area of responsibility

Requirements:

§ Manage the execution of orders and deliveries for assigned portfolio of products for export, Intercompany, and stock transfer orders.

§ Handles and monitors deliveries from internal production plants, RDCs, & depots to customers in coordination with contracted Logistic Service Providers

§ Manages the batch allocation process following the defined & set quality guidelines and agreed time before loading date considering priority management for physical loadings and keeps relevant stakeholders informed

§ Monitors product availability pro-actively and handles related conflicts in close co-operation with Scheduling team and Customer Service Organisation

§ Responsible for transport booking execution and acceptance follow up process working in close partnership with Freight Forwarders

§ Responsibility for the dispatch administration of finished goods, samples, raw material and base resin flows (e.g. goods issued, goods receipt, CMR, seals) – with or without support of auto dispatching functionalities

§ Monitors final delivery to customer pro-actively supported by system

§ Handling order fulfilment related customer complaints

§ Coordinates return orders and seeks for optimal reverse logistics solutions

§ Acts as key contact for the local forwarders and Customer Service organisation for all order execution related aspects

§ Responsible for accurate, efficient and timely completion of maritime and air shipments to assigned Customer portfolio including compiling all the export documentation

§ Coordinates sourcing and costing of single shipments not covered by existing contracts

Education

§ Bachelor degree (business/logistics oriented education) and/or 1 to 3 years’ experience (preferably within the Supply Chain area)

§ English: advanced knowledge, spoken and written

Experience

§ Minimum 1 to 3 year experience (preferably in business or supply chain area)

§ Basic knowledge of Supply Chain processes with expertise in minimum 1 core order fulfilment area (transportation, supply planning and sales order execution)

§ Familiar with logistics offerings and international transport with a focus on exportation process

§ Preferred experience working with a multitude of 3PL providers (Warehouses, Packagers, Freight Forwarders, Brokers, etc.)

§ Good knowledge of Borealis standards and procedures (relevant for internal recruitment)

§ Comprehensive and capable computer skills specifically in MS office applications

§ Baseline knowledge of SAP with the ability to navigate and execute transactions at will (to be included for external posting)

§ Excellent Team Player and communication skills (both verbally and written)

§ Basic negotiation skills

§ Excellent internal and external networking capabilities

§ Stress resistant and adaptable

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
