This is a trainee position with growth potential to become an Oven Lead at which time the
rate would move to Oven Lead rate $21.22
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is a training position working to assist in the workflow and quality checks in the Finishing
Oven area. The job requires that the employee be able to work safely and follow safety rules.
Employee must be dependable, able to follow instructions and directions, according to
established operating procedures.
Excellent attendance, attitude, and motivation must be demonstrated to advance to the
next level
Train on all Ovens tasks:
Understand and execute starting and stopping ovens correctly
Verify correct product weights
Monitor oven temperatures throughout shift ensuring oven temperatures are within
allowed temperature range
Ensure correct punch times are used to control product moisture
Ensure oven unload team is checking weights
Ensure oven unload team is sorting product correctly
Communicate with mold department to ensure indurators operate efficiently
Trouble shoot and communicate with maintenance on broken equipment
Must complete confined space entry for the ovens following our Life Critical Policy
Obtain forklift certification
Responsible for operating in conformance with the ISO certification held by the Ruston facility
Performs other duties as directed
Work with shift supervisor to supervise oven unload team
