Summary of Position: Implements and supports daily operation of the Medical Imaging Information systems including network servers, workstations, hardware and applications support. Collaborates with the Medical Imaging and IS department regarding all MI system activities including strategic planning. Interacts with system vendors and Medical Imaging users to resolve problems and communicates activities. Provides leadership with support technology within Medical Imaging.

• Possesses knowledge of state-of-the-art Medical Imaging Information Technology, I.e., PAC's, Voice Recognition and CR. Advanced computer literacy.

Minimum Qualifications: BS in Information Systems or Computer Science and one-year experience in networking, programming and microcomputer support; or an Associate's degree in Information Systems or relevant degree, and 2 years of experience in networking, programming and microcomputer support. Experience in health care based information systems and Medical Imaging information systems preferred. DAS, NAS, SAN Storage knowledge a plus. MCP or MCSE, A+ certification preferred.
