Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Patient Access Representative for the Patient Access Department at Overlook Medical Center to work varied shifts including every other weekend if required by department.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- In Summit and Union ED greet and register patients.
- Detail oriented and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Will register patients in an accurate and timely manner entering demographic and insurance information.
- Collection of copay, deductible, coinsurance, etc.
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Some college preferred.
Minimal Experience:
- 2 years of medical office/insurance and/or billing experience preferred
