We are currently looking for a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapy Assistant in the Del Rio, Texas area to join our team of dedicated rehabilitation specialists. New graduates are welcome to apply!

This PRN position will allow you to work collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care.
Job Summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
o Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
o Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Physical Therapist
o Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision
o Measures & records patient’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance
o Monitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessary
o Completes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
Skills:
o SNF/Long term care experience preferred
o Current knowledge of treatment practices
o Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
o Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
Required licensure:
o Current License as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas. Must be in good standing.
