Job description
As a Personal Care Officer, you will:-
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the residents
- Ensure Home policies are strictly adhered to
- Do rounds of the dormitories and premises and ensure that everything is clean and in good order, particularly toilets, kitchens and dining area
- Partner with Nursing Aides and Healthcare Attendants to maintain personal grooming and dressing
- Work with Programme Team to organise and implement programmes for the residents
- Accompany residents on outings/events and supervise the residents at such outings
- Report illness in residents or relapse of mental illness without any delay to the Nursing staff and Superintendent
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimally a Certificate/Diploma in Community Care for Elderly/Social Service/Healthcare/Careregiving/Gerontology or related disciplines
- Passionate in serving the elderly community
- At least 1 year of experience in Elderly Care or in any Service Operations role
- Good team player and a multi-tasker
- Good interpersonal and writing skills
- Able to work rotating shifts including Saturday & Sundays
About You
- Certificate/Dip in Community Care for Elderly/Social Service/Healthcare/Careregiving/Gerontology or related disciplines
- Those without relevant qualifications but with security experience or voluteerism spirit or secur will be considered
- Passion for Elderly Care
- At least 1 year experience in Elderly Care or in any Service Operations role
- High-level of Altruism, a great team-player and multi-tasker
- Good computer & IT skills
- Good interpersonal and writing skills
- Willing to work on 3 rotating shifts
