Job description

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for helping Pharmacists perform daily tasks to serve customers. Their duties include filling and labeling prescriptions, interacting with customers to answer questions or give them their prescriptions and contacting customers to notify them when their prescription is ready. Must be able to communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all different levels of medical literacy levels.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to enter data into a computer to maintain records.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective organizational skills and time management skills.
• Outstanding customer service mindset.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• CPhT preferred, not required
• 6 months minimum experience required
• Must be registered or have the ability to be licensed by Missouri State Board of License with no restrictions to federal/state funded third party billing

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform light lifting (up to 15 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.
• Ability to be able to see, hear, read, write, kneel, stand for long periods of time, sit and lift up to 35 lbs without device assistance
• Must have the ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required.
