We are seeking a experienced Physical Therapist Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be interested in providing physical and rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries and chronic medical conditions and must be willing to work with a diverse patient population. The right candidate will also help us to ensure that we give the best quality care possible to our amazing patients. The candidate must be a team player, who is able to multi-task, stay busy and work in a face paced setting! The candidate must have an altruistic nature to work with us!

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a physical therapy technician. The responsibilities of the physical therapy technician include helping patients move around, organizing and cleaning treatment areas, recording patient progress for the physical therapist, and ordering and arranging supplies.

To be successful as a physical therapy technician you should have a compassionate, courteous, and friendly personality. Ultimately, a top-notch physical therapy technician enjoys helping people and is detail-oriented with great manual dexterity.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in the treatment of patients with physical and mental disabilities.
• Address patient concerns.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Aid in applying therapeutic techniques to treat patients.
• Meet regulatory and professional standards.
• Perform daily tasks of the clinic such as the laundry, cleaning treatment rooms and gyms, take co-pays and perform front office duties etc.
• Utilize correct medical terminology when working with patients.
• Have a detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Assisting patients with light exercises during physical therapy sessions.
• Helping patients to move from room to room.
• Cleaning and preparing treatment areas and equipment before and after each session.
• Changing and washing patients' linens and pillows.
• Recording patients' progress for the Physical Therapist.
• Performing clerical tasks, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Handling the necessary paperwork, such as filling out insurance forms.
• Ordering and arranging supplies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
