What You Will Achieve
Under direct supervision of Senior Manager, the PMO Specialist applies project management principles to support the supplier qualification (new suppliers and/or alternate suppliers) for APIs, excipients, and packaging components. They will own and execute change control, engineering trials, provide technical support, and assist the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the transfer process.
The PMO Specialist will track and govern the alt supply process related to supplier change notices. Conduct regular team meeting for project group. Create tracking mechanisms to track and elevate key process milestones. Maintain the DOC tracking.
How You Will Achieve It
  • Conduct monthly Alt Supply Governance meetings:
    • Prepares meeting content
    • Distributes agenda before meeting
    • Leads discussion, manage meeting process and action items
    • Compile and distribute meeting minutes
    • Performs Process confirmation
  • Serve as project owner for the defined T2 Alt Supply projects:
    • Change control (creating, assigning, and tracking actions to completion)
    • Monitor and provide status updates for projects including any escalations resources, risks, constraints.
    • Coordinate with internal and external entities to determine project priority
    • Support assigned activities related to the creation of documents, coordination of documentation requirements, determination of fill schedules and stability requirements.
Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an associate degree with 4 years of experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
  • Competency in PC software such as MS Project, MS Word, Excel is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, multi-task and manage projects and tasks to ensure tasks are accomplished.
  • Self-starter with the ability to exercise sound judgement under significant supervision in a structured environment.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in pharma manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Basic project management skills
  • Sound plant process knowledge.

  • Remains organized & positive in ambiguous and fast-paced, rapidly changing situations
  • Ability to analyze data from detailed schedule and risk management tools
  • Interface effectively with multiple stakeholder groups
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • This role is standard days Monday through Friday work shift
  • Non-standard work hour support of global conference calls, 24/7 manufacturing, etc. required when needed, though not typical of weekly requirements.
