Job Summary:
We are currently in search of a Policy Administration Representative. The purpose of this job is to process and maintain data across all policy administration systems in accordance with company, State, and Federal guidelines. The Policy Administration Representative provides a timely and accurate service to policy holders, agents and internal customers. The Policy Administration Representative ensures timely guidance to the Policy Support Center Representatives. This position also supports other departments as needed and management direction and changes, in order to accomplish department and company objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Processing and preparing written correspondence related to financial transaction requests from clients and agents.
- Handle special projects as assigned and provide support and backup to management through meeting participation and follow up, as needed
- Research problem situations to correct user or system errors
- Present ideas on improving workflow and processes
- Job Qualifications:
- Ability to work well with others at various levels within the organization
- Possess strong grammar and basic math skills
- Ability to complete repetitive work accurately, timely, and consistently
- Detail Orientated with a strong sense of urgency
- Remain flexible in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize work to ensure timely completion of all tasks, and work in a team environment
- Desire and ability to take ownership of situations and resolve problems
- Problem solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of insurance contracts and the insurance industry
- Good understanding of Americo products and policy forms
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and how to apply information to the processing of requests
- Knowledge of most products we serve and service expectations
Education Qualification:
- 4 year college degree preferred
