Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The Summer Analyst will assist with the operation and management of Invesco’s US Income Fund. The US Income Fund is an open-end, core-plus fund that primarily targets residential, industrial, medical office, retail, traditional office, and specialty sector investments and has a gross asset value of $5+ billion. The assignment will last 10 weeks, beginning in June and continuing through mid-August in Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Perform various research projects using real estate databases and calling on local market participants
• Assist in portfolio and investment level analysis
• Participate in various investment committee and portfolio strategy meetings
• Assist with quarterly investor reporting and marketing efforts
• Other duties as assigned

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft office products
• Strong research skills required

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills a must
• Ability to work in a team, as well as independently
• Strong interest in real estate required

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

• Attainment of an undergraduate degree (rising Senior as of 6/23) in a business/real estate field is in process
