Your opportunity
  • Corporate Actions
    • Ensure voluntary corporate action election deadlines are met through supervising and prioritizing outstanding elections and applying the necessary escalation with front office personnel as required
    • Update Mandatory Corporate Action events in the order management system (Charles River)
    • Monitor and prioritize urgent queries, including blocked shares trading inquiries, eligibility reporting for restrictions requiring legal review, and override reporting
  • Class Actions
    • Work with Service Providers to ensure funds are credited with claim payments
  • Proxy Voting
    • Perform daily functions including monitoring outstanding votes, review of proxy notifications, vote execution, reporting, and communication
    • Monitor against policy votes, confirm rationale
  • As needed, support cash management function by performing oversight of cash ladder reporting, overdraft monitoring, and resolving inquiries from front office
  • Assist with oversight of service providers quality and performance by reviewing KPIs, metrics and by carrying out regular SLA reviews to ensure adherence to contractual policies, procedures and controls
  • Document process flows, operational controls and suggest efficiencies to manage and mitigate risk
  • Work closely with other business areas to ensure involvement and the understanding of new business and regulatory developments

Must have skills
  • Understanding of corporate action events
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to the achievement of team goals and objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to correspond across various functions such as fund managers, service providers, compliance, and legal
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust, confidence in own capabilities, ability to work well with others internally to accomplish client objectives
  • Proactive, takes ownership, highly motivated with a passion to learn the business and the clients we support
  • Extremely organized, with good attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
  • The ability to operate across geographies and time zones to deliver results in a truly global organization

Nice to have skills
  • 2+ years financial services/asset management experience preferred

  • Experience of working with corporate action, proxy voting platforms (e.g. XSP, eTRAN, ISS Communicator.)
  • Project management skills: Ability to organize and track multiple threads of activity, ability to deliver on tight timelines, hands-on approach to resolving issues and detail orientation
  • Presentation skills, ability to summarize client meetings and/or other client interactions to various levels in the organization
  • Strong Excel skills

Compensation information
The base salary range for thi sposition is $60,000-$70,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
