Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Global Supply Chain is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to provide assistance on special projects supporting the Manager of Global Supply Chain Continuous Improvement. The qualified candidate will provide support for project oversight, managing budgets, schedules, risk management, quality assurance, and reporting of status to executive management in order to drive project completion. Responsibilities will include developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with stakeholders.
We are searching for an individual who has preferred experience in both ERP1 & ERP2. He/she will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

He/she will operate in a team environment and collaborate across the sector business areas as required to accomplish the team goals. The candidate will work closely with the Directors and Managers of other disciplines, Program Managers, and Program Directors.
This position can be worked in Baltimore or remote.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the Manager, MS GSC Operations, project teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Develops and executes mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving
- The individual with be a key contributor to the continuous improvement and streamlining of common GSC processes
- Drive development and maintenance of innovative, responsive analyses, processes, infrastructure, and tools
- The individual will work the Manager of GSC Operations and with stakeholders to understand competing priorities and resources, then develop plans, manage schedule, and provide status reports.
- Support the planning and execution of special events and assignments
- Ability to travel to stakeholder and supplier partner locations
- Maintains strong, positive interoffice and stakeholder relations. Represents GSC in cross-organizational workgroups, communities of practice, project teams, etc.
- Facilitate change within the organization, to achieve competitive advantage for the business.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications for the level 3:
- Bachelor's degree plus at least 6+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, business management or operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-discipline, and cross-function as part of a top performing team
- Effective oral and written communications skills, capable of translating and presenting complex project concepts to management and stakeholders, through presentations and other written formats.
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office tool suite, to include MS PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Supply Chain Management
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- Experience in ERP system conversions
- Demonstrated capabilities in material management, dock to stock flow, outsourced kitting, and MRP in an SAP environment
- Hands-on experience developing / implementing common processes, product templates / standards / checklists, metrics, root cause/corrective actions and training.
This position reports to Linthicum, MD, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Unknown, VA, VA, USA.
