Job Scope
- Rate negotiation and procurement with Ocean Carriers
- Relationship with Carriers to support local, regional and global strategy
- Maintaining trade-lane freight standard rate to Business Development team
- Provide technical advice and market intelligence to Business Development to price product with competitive and sustainable growth
- Intervene where needed with regards to rates and contract clarification/dispute, space issues with carriers
- Timely response to the Tenders/RFQs
- Coordinate and maintain records on Tariffs provided by Global procurement Centre especially on TP Trades
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management and minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding procurement (FCL/LCL/RORO)
- Experience in Tariff management and Tender management
