Intro
Support plant material planning functions, including interfacing with supply base, reviewing material supply and taking actions to correct when necessary. Monitor supplier shipments and inventory levels and escalate issues to department management.
Job Description:
Material shortages – analyze issues, update shortage management tools; Escalate to department management all shortages with potential to impact production requirements
Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the supply chain
Effectively communicate across a wide variety of internal and external suppliers – crisp, clear, continuous communication
Expedite component deliveries as required, identify critical issues, and escalate as required
Review and maintain proper component inventory levels. Develop actions to control inventory on a component basis.
Manage consignment component inventory levels to prevent aged material
Engage in PTN / PCN discussions with internal coordinator and execute eSign / PO process
Availability for after hours calls and material escalations
Basic Requirements:
Associates Degree (Preferred emphasis in Buisness, Materials, or Technology) OR 5 years of experience in SCM
2-3 years hands on SAP experience
High stress environment, possibility of occasional travel, Ability to lift 28 pounds
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
High degree of analytical and problem solving skills
