Job description
Southern Marsh is seeking a fresh, talented, and organized Product Development Coordinator who is enthusiastic about working in the fashion and retail industry. As a member of the creative team, you must be ready and willing to take on a wide variety of projects and back up other team members, as needed. The Product Development Coordinator position will report to the Creative Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Aid in the sourcing of all fabric and materials needed for new product creation
- Assist the design team with brainstorming ideas for new product lines
- Help oversee day to day tasks of fashion design interns
- Responsible for the timeliness and quality of production reviews
- Maintaining the organization of samples throughout the office
- Send all comments to suppliers regarding changes and edits to new products
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1-2 + years of relative industry experience in apparel development, retail, or project management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Must be able to perform efficiently in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
- Bachelor's degree in (or studying) related apparel focused field (Fashion Design, Product Development, Fashion/Merchandising Business)
- Independent, proactive work ethic
- Excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
