YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/sweetwaterscafe Position Description:Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is seeking a detailed oriented, energetic, positive, and strategic individual that enjoys working within a team. This is a cross functional position that has both internal and external customers. This position manages retail products and services for the brand, franchisees, and ecommerce as well as leads the documentation and coordination of product development to achieve Sweetwaters initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Works and communicates directly with the Senior Director of Retail Operations on retail products, services, and product development.
  • Works collaboratively with corporate cafe management and teams to develop and test products and initiatives.
  • Manages procurement and sales of Sweetwaters branded products to end users and franchisees.
  • Works with the operations team in the development and revision of operational tools.
  • Sources, coordinates, and manages vendors for ongoing and new projects.
  • Works with the marketing and operations team on the timeline of new products and services.
  • Ensures brand integrity, brand image, and messaging is maintained in new products and services.
  • Works with franchisees in training and communicating vendor programs pre and post opening.
  • Works with franchisees in the set up/installation of retail service accounts.
  • Assists in analyzing and communicating vendor data to the appropriate department monthly.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, service, marketing, finance, or related field.
  • One year or more of coffeehouse, beverage, or food service experience.
  • Experience communicating with vendors.
  • The ability to multi-task, be forward thinking, and work in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter.
  • The ability to work independently, work on many projects at once, and be able to change focus as needed.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, take directions, and work well as part of a team.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • High energy level.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office within a PC environment.
  • Proficient at Excel.
  • Intense eye for detail.
  • Exceptional proofreading skills.
  • Interest in the food and hospitality field.
  • Understanding and passion for high quality products.
  • Experience in successful quality control and maintaining set standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A sense of humor with an easy going yet driven personality.
  • Hours will generally be M-F with some possible weekends or after-hours events.
Hours Required: Full time: 40+ hours/week
