Job Title: Production Chef

Reports To : Manager/Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. An hourly wage is set, however it may vary with the geographic location of the property or with other related responsibilities

SUMMARY : As a Team Member the Production Chef is accountable for the daily production of Fudge, Corns, Brittles, Carmel, chocolate dipped items, waffle cones and bowls. Production Chef will coordinate with the Supervisor on duty, or Managers to provide exceptional product and service for our customers. This includes meeting or exceeding our established standards for product quality, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, sales and financial performance. You must lead by example by taking a proactive position to all issues concerning product standards, service standards and standards of operation. Even though it is not your main duty, you will be cross trained to function in the counter and sales area. You may be assigned additional duties as needed.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE : In harmony with our 4 core values and culture, provides exceptional product, customer service and sales of product under the leadership and direction of Supervisors and Managers.

LEADERSHIP : Take personal initiative and be a self-feeder. Complete production training as well as program in Ice Cream, Fudge, Chocolates, and Drinks. With excellence, create the highest quality product, greet and serve customers, restock, answer questions and make sales suggestions, general cleaning duties, POS transactions, quality control.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE . Entry Level and must have the desire to learn and grow and intigrate into our culture.

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operational procedures and standards. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to effectively present information and interact with customers and other Team Members.

FINANCIAL SKILLS : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
