Job description
Belletech, located in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking candidates for a Production Coordinator position. The hours for this position are for 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for supervision of the production operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures in order to meet KPI’s. This position oversees daily production and provides support as needed. This position is responsible for the communication of information from the Associate level up to Management.
Responsibilities:
- Supports Corporate EHS&S activities
- Provides a safe work environment and adheres to company policies and legal regulations
- Responsible for reporting and documenting workplace accidents, injuries, property damage, and near miss incidents
- Responsible for production scheduling
- Effective written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization
- Effectively trains and assists production associates
- Ensure acceptable associate performance through appraisal, training, coaching, and counseling
- Maintains good leadership with team leaders and associates
- Responsible for performing the team leader’s job functions when they are not here
- Assists with Research and Development Team
- Other duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of leadership and manufacturing experience
- The Production Coordinator position does not require a degree but is very beneficial
