Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will supervisor staff, organize and maintain work flow within the department or area assigned within the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of project or job at/or under budget, within scheduled timeframe, and a high level of quality.
• Responsible for providing direction, development, and motivation to department team members. Ability to move employees between tasks to minimize downtime.
• Responsible to allocate work amongst team members and monitor job performance. Be able to perform all of the tasks within the work area.
• Coordinate team members to ensure daily targets/quotas are completed within specified time frame.
• Work with the Production Manager to plan and implement work schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Support and assist Production Manager with employee performance evaluations and merit reviews for employees within the department. Continuously monitor to promote and/or discipline behavior throughout the year.
• Assist with developing and implementing new policy and procedures deemed necessary to continually seek ways and means to improve operational efficiencies in the department/facility.
• Participate in internal and external customer reviews. Lead department in making necessary changes to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
