This position is responsible to develop, administer and coordinate all functions, activities and systems for the Center for Health Education (CHE) and the Graduate Medical Education (GME) department.
FUNCTION SUMMARY
CHE
Manage and direct daily activities of the CHE staff
Identify the needs and markets for educational programs and implement programs to match needs/markets Develop and implement annual operating plan and manage daily fiscal operations
GME
- Manage and direct daily activities of the GME staff
- Facilitate projects developed by GME to ensure residency programs operate as efficiently and effectively as possible
Develop and implement annual operating plan and manage daily fiscal operations
OVERALL n Promote effective communication and facilitate positive working relationships between the CHE/ GME and other LBMMC departments as well as all other entities affecting medical education operations
- Act as liaison between the VP for Quality and Performance Improvement and the CHE/GME staff

Provide competent support in Administrator's absence
- Meet regularly with Executive Director, Medical Education to review progress

- This position has authority to approve all expenses for CHE and GME (within signatory guidelines)
