Bachelor’s degree or equivalent- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing.
- 3-5+ years of relevant program management experience.
- Experience in core project management methodologies.
- High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in leading large scale projects/programs from initiation through delivery in a technology organisation/role. As a program manager for IT Services, you will lead projects focused on the delivery of a new feature, service, product, or system, all of which are aimed at making us the best IT support organisation in the world. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to, the following: · Gathering business requirements · Document functional and design specifications · Identify appropriate resources needed · Assemble the right project team · Assign individual responsibilities · Develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project Program Managers blend a mix of business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints. The successful candidate will rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables. At Amazon, it is always Day 1. - Experience performing discovery and scoping activities towards multiple concurrent program launches.
- Outstanding speaking and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others.
- Experience communicating with senior management (Director/VP-level decision-makers).
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain strong attention to detail, and work independently.
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning existing practices.
