Summary/Characteristics of Position:
The Program Supervisor is a professional supervisory position that provides direct supervision, training and support to assigned employees ensuring procedural compliance to its operations. The position performs supervisory tasks for a behavioral health provider within a Juvenile Assessment Center that coordinates services under a Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) contract.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct supervision, performance management, training and support to assigned direct service personnel.
- Participates in the recruitment and selection of assigned direct service personnel.
- Prepares staffing schedules to meet the licensure requirements and needs of the program.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for provision of services.
- Ensures compliance with required contract, licensure, accreditation, and certification guidelines.
- Prepares internal reports related to service delivery, budgeting, health/safety, on-the-job-injuries and other reportable incidents.
- Participates in regular quality and process improvement meetings with other members of program management.
Pre-requisite Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human service or business management
- One(1) year of team lead, supervisory or other management related experience
- Ability to participate in crisis intervention and CPR/First Aid certification class and apply to work setting.
- Valid FL Driver License
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- Previous experience in a DJJ setting.

Work Environment: This role functions in a secure setting with security on site.
Travel: Minimal travel required. This position does not require overnight travel.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
