The Opportunity
The PM will function as the customer primary point of contact and thus must have strong leadership skills, significant program and project management experience and familiarity with PM processes, technical aptitude in related systems and product lines, strong quantitative analysis capability, and well developed written and verbal communication skills.
The PM will lead Integrated Program Team(s) (IPT) consisting of matrixed resources (that indirectly report to the PM) that include but are not limited to the functional responsibilities of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality. The PM should have experience with program and project management tools and processes as outlined in the Program Management Book Of Knowledge (PMBOK) or equivalent, and is preferred to have a certification as a Program Management Professional (PMP).

Your Challenge:
- Lead the Integrated Program Team
- Engineers, Designers, Operations, Field Service, Contracts, Region Directors, Etc.
- Manage annual revenue generation by individual projects and programs: $1M to $5M yearly
- Manage Multiple Projects & Programs
- New System, Overhaul, Upgrade Projects
- Coordinate and lead IPT Team members
- Manage Customer Relationships
- POC for all program activity, responsible for all project contract requirements
- New business development support with key customers
- Revenue and bookings forecasting / planning
- Create strong team level relationships
- Accountability for Program/Project Performance
- Program P&L, Inventory Control, Cost Management
- Letter of Credit management
- Schedule and Resource Management
- Quality Assurance
- Scope Management
- Risk Management
- Procurement and Manufacturing Management
- Invoicing oversight and cash collection
- Report to Stakeholders
- Executive leadership, Customers, Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders
- Manage Government and Regulatory Issues
- Export and manufacturing licenses
- ITAR or EAR control
- Government accounting principles
Your Expertise:
- Understands complex systems integration
- Results / action oriented, high energy level
- Persuasive, gets things done through influence
- Process oriented, can change / develop business processes quickly
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills up to executive levels
- Excellent presentation skills and presentation preparation
- Quantitative / analysis skills using MS Project, Excel, ERP system and other tools
- Displays organizational leadership skill / team player
- Continuously improves in all aspects
- Fosters strong team relationships
- CAPM or PMP Certification is preferred
- 5-7 years project management ($1-5M+ program values) experience with project management in aerospace and defense is preferred. 2-4 years of project and/or supervisory experience
- Experience with UD DoD/Federal government contracting including FAR,DFAR,TINA and other associated regulations
- Experience with government cost collection and reporting requirements for major government and commercial contracts
- Very well versed in MS Projects and Excel, ability to extract and analyze program data from ERP system
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional areas
